Hello, parents and kids! I'm Keishla. I was born and raised in the tropical island of Puerto Rico. I'm passionate about helping learners discover the wonders of nature, animals, and space. I encourage creativity and curiosity. My classes will be fun and engaging, they will provide a comfortable environment for students to engage with the learning process. For several years, I taught in the traditional classroom setting. I taught English, science, math, social studies, and Spanish to kids in first, second, and third grade. After that, I taught English to kids in seventh, eighth, and ninth grades. Learning is discovering. I can't wait to have you in class.

Creating a positive learning environment where kids can have fun and develop the skills needed to succeed in the real world. After teaching for 20 years around the world, I have realized what I love to do, teach creativity to the age group that is still full of ideas, loves to have fun and has a lifetime of practice ahead of them.

Every class has set goals where students must PRODUCE language to show how well they have understood and can apply our ideas.

I don´t students´ hands and drag them through my lesson but rather expose them to knowledge, opportunities and let them push themselves. My hand is never far when they need a little support, but individuals but learn independently on their own terms, in their own ways, and producing language that matters to THEM.

I consider myself as a reliable, caring , fun and creative playmate for children. I offer my smile, patience and dedication to children.


Learning can be fun so any creative, fun ,diverse teaching strategies are all I love to do and try with children. Playing and experience are always the best way to learn in childhood.

我的教學模式是採用“主題教學法”（Thematic teaching），主題教學法是指在確立的主題框架中圍繞著學生與主題內容的興趣和探討。目的是在學習的過程中以研究方法來獲取知識和發展知識，發現學生不同的閃光點，使學生獲得自由且具有完整思考的自我體驗。每一主題都有相應的主題內容和總體要求，一般最少四至八次的課堂完成一個主題教學。

Why do I LOVE what I do ?
I started teaching French to the foreign students in university, that was my very first experience, and I really loved sharing knowledge, I learned a lot for their language and culture. After I graduate I decided to move to China to learn mandarin, then I quickly decided to stay there longer as I liked the environment. I started working in a French institute called 凯旋法语 and I had my first experience with children. It was great, and what I liked the most was seeing that they were enjoying learning with me and were happy to come back to class.
