Hi! my name is Lori Esposito, I started teaching art to kids because I would have loved as a child to learn the things I am interested in, such as the history behind my favorite art subjects, fun facts, and developing strong art skills. I am teaching anime drawing, comics, creative writing and mythical creatures. I love that as I have begun my teaching journey, my students questions, and interests have deepened my love and education in these subjects.

I am a comic artist, i love painting, anime, and I love to read! I studied at the School of Visual Arts and I am currently certified to be a School Counselor. I am open to students who need accommodations. I have worked with children for 5 years as a Department of Education Substitute teacher, and art instructor. I want all students to feel comfortable and seen and encourage them to speak up about what they want to learn from me.

I have been teaching both children and adults for over 25 years!

I have a Bachelors Degree in Education, I am TESOL Certified and Homeschool Certified as well.

I have experience in teaching English online to children in China, and Currently I am teaching Common Core subjects and Life Skills classes online to grades PreK to high school.

I have home-schooled all 5 of my own children. 4 graduated from High School and my last one is in High School now.

I am so passionate about teaching that I spend much of my free time in volunteer work teaching others.

My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.

I believe in learning so much that I am always involved in continuing education myself, whether it be a foreign language or improving my teaching techniques. I am even enrolled in a weekly public speaking class.

I believe I have a lot to bring to the classroom! I am excited to begin this journey of learning with you!
