Hello! My name is Adam and I am a master student studying in University of St. Gallen. My lessons focus on tailoring to specific student needs by considering their interests, ability and knowledge. I generally offer lessons for debating and public speaking which focuses on back and forth discussions on current affairs as well argument construction to ensure students can deliver and articulate their ideas concisely. I believe in today’s day and age, yes academics does play a huge role in enhancing your employability, but with everyone graduating from university degrees and achieving similar grades, how can you differentiate yourself from the rest of the pack? Being able to present yourself clearly and articulate your thoughts is what I believe to be the most effective way to stand out; from job interviews, to assessment centres, to presenting to your boss, etc; being able to speak with conviction will surely take you the extra mile in your career!

Creating a positive learning environment where kids can have fun and develop the skills needed to succeed in the real world. After teaching for 20 years around the world, I have realized what I love to do, teach creativity to the age group that is still full of ideas, loves to have fun and has a lifetime of practice ahead of them.

Every class has set goals where students must PRODUCE language to show how well they have understood and can apply our ideas.

I don´t students´ hands and drag them through my lesson but rather expose them to knowledge, opportunities and let them push themselves. My hand is never far when they need a little support, but individuals but learn independently on their own terms, in their own ways, and producing language that matters to THEM.

I love children and teaching has been my passion for over 30 years. I am communicative and easy-going, with good sense of humour and get on well with students. I am trying to prepare lessons which suit my students’ needs. The materials I use help my lessons to be action-packed, so that they develop all language skills. Using video clips, short puzzles and various games facilitates the learning process in a more entertaining way and students usually love it. Having me as a teacher, students will enjoy relaxing atmosphere and an easy way to learn difficult grammar and language structures, all these supported with a variety of interesting and level-graded tasks.

I have a Masters of Education and am a licensed math and English teacher. **I have been teaching online for five years!** I love the exploration of math and plan to explore it in all of my classes.

My term long classes (broken into two terms affordability) will include plenty of exploration but will also be courses that will allow students to understand and practice concepts. As far as core classes go I teach middle school math (6th, 7th, and 8th/pre-algebra), Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus. I have taught these in a brick and mortar school in the USA and international schools in Thailand and China.

I have taught ages 11 to 18 in a traditional classroom.
