Singapore Math with Singapore Trained Math Teacher Trial - Primary 2 to 5
These individualised sessions are for learners studying Singapore Math, Primary 2 to 5.
Description
Highly suitable for students who are being homeschooled, enjoys extension, needs an extra boost or just prefer a one-to-one setting.
Each session will be designed to cater to the needs of the learner.
The first couple of lessons will target on finding out the Mathematical ability of the learner. This will help me to find out what I need to focus on during the lessons.
As the lessons are designed according to individual needs, the structure will vary. Plenty of time will be allocated for sufficient explanation and practice. Once the learner has been assessed to be able to handle work, assignment will be given to practice and consolidate what was taught.
Topics will follow the current Singapore syllabus by Ministry of Education, Singapore 2013 and 2021, focusing on concepts learners require additional help in.

Hi, I am Regine. I have been a teacher since 2009 after graduating from teachers' college in Singapore. I teach Mathematics and Science to students from age 6 to 15.
In 2016, my husband and I moved to New Zealand and I am happy that I am still able to continue teaching what I am good at.
I completed my teaching qualification in Singapore and have been teaching since 2009. I specialise in teaching primary and lower secondary Mathematics and Science.
In 2016, my husband and I moved to New Zealand and I have been teaching here since. Throughout my 12 years of teaching, I have taught students from 6 to 15 years old. The schools I taught and am teaching in comprised of students from different cultural backgrounds so I am sensitive and open towards my students' needs.
Over the years I have been teaching, I have had the privilege to teach students from different ethnicities, social economic status and learning abilities.
Nothing is more rewarding than helping my students overcome their doubts and fears to succeed in their studies. Teaching is a rewarding job and I am happy to be able to make a difference to my students' lives.
