This Community Policy ("Community Policy") is provided by LEARN Anytime Anywhere to anyone (Teachers and Parents/Students) that make use of our website and affiliated tools (the “Services”). In order to ensure that the Services is a safe place where learners from all over the world can connect and help each other learn a course/language, all users must read and agree to be bound by this Community Policy. This Community Policy is in addition to the prohibitions in our general Terms and Conditions and other terms and policies (other “Policies”) provided by LEARN Anytime Anywhere on the Services. 1. Community Conduct and Content Policy
When you use the Services or upload user content (including when you list Classes as a Teacher or post as a Parent/Student), you are required to do it in a manner that is consistent with this Community Policy and other Policies. LEARN Anytime Anywhere does not permit any of the behaviours described below:
Spamming: You may not send the same message to multiple users or repeatedly post the same message in any section of the Services.
Commercial Advertisements: Do not contact other users for commercial purposes without their consent. In addition, do not create posts or comments that are solely for commercial purposes since this detracts from and does not add anything of value to the learning community.
Searching for a Romantic Relationship: Do not contact other users of the Services for dating or find sexual partners. This is improper conduct and might be treated as harassment.
Harassing, bullying or Stalking: LEARN Anytime Anywhere does not tolerate harassment, bullying or stalking. We may, at our sole discretion, take actions on the reports of harassment, bullying or stalking. Repeatedly messaging another user with unwanted friend requests or messages is deemed as harassment.
Impersonation: Do not claim to be another person or seek to mislead other users as to your identity by copying another user’s avatar, using a username that is misleadingly similar to another user or otherwise posing as another user. Do not create a false presence for an organisation.
Posting of Personal Information about other people: Do not post or upload any personal information about other people on the Services. Personal information may include other people’s phone number, private email address, physical address, credit card number (or other payment methods), passwords and/or any other similar personal information.
The threat of Violence: Do not threaten violence towards other users or third parties, or use the Services to organise, promote or incite acts of real-world violence or terrorism.
Hate Speech and other Offensive Language: Do not post any content, send any messages or otherwise take any actions on the Services that attack other users based on their body size, personal appearance, level of experience, race, ethnicity, nationality, tribe, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or medical condition.
Posting Sexually Obscene Content: Do not post any pornographic content, any sexually explicit content or any content that display any acts of nudity.
Posting infringing Content: Do not post any content that infringes any third party’s copyright, privacy rights and other intellectual property rights.
Posting Self-harming content: Do not post any content that promotes or encourages self-harm, such as self-mutilation, eating disorders, drug abuse or suicide.
Defamation: Do not post any content on the Services that is intended to, or would reasonably be expected to, harm LEARN Anytime Anywhere or our brand, including the images and reputations of our employees, agents, officers and any affiliates.
Engaging in Political or Religious Discussions: Do not initiate or participate in discussions or post images that relate to political or religious events or groups. Politics and religion are sensitive topics that often lead to polarising and hateful comments. It is our position not to have these types of discussions on a platform that is meant for language learning.
2. Reporting Violations
We rely on our users to let us know when violations of this Community Policy occur. We do not actively monitor the Services for offensive content or other violations of this Community Policy.
If you believe that any post, message or content of any user on the Services goes against this Community Policy or other Policies, please report the violation to us via [email protected].
3. Our Actions on Violations:
If we receive any report about any content or post violating this Community Policy or other Policies, we may take further actions, including:
Remove the violating content or post; and/or
Suspend, limit or terminate the user account of the violator.
4. Updates to this Community Policy
We reserve the right to update this Community Policy at any time without liability to you. You are expected to review this Community Policy frequently to be aware of any updates to it.
